Our client, a highly regarded midsize law firm with a nationally respected White Collar & Investigations practice, is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4–5 years of experience in white collar criminal defense, regulatory enforcement, and government investigations. This is an exceptional opportunity for a rising litigation attorney to join a collaborative and high-performing trial team focused on sophisticated, high-stakes matters involving corporate and individual clients. The practice regularly handles complex federal and state investigations, criminal proceedings, and enforcement actions, and the associate will be a key contributor in case development, from building trial themes to outlining arguments and witness strategy.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience conducting internal investigations, managing document reviews, drafting detailed reports, and preparing presentations to regulators. Exposure to matters involving financial fraud, FCPA violations, whistleblower allegations, and corporate corruption is essential, with additional experience in insider trading, criminal antitrust, AML, and SEC/DOJ investigations considered highly valuable. Candidates with second-chair trial experience, policy drafting capabilities, and prior work in global risk assessments will stand out. Experience on secondments or with Criminal Justice Act assignments is a strong plus.

This role offers substantial visibility and growth, working alongside a prominent white collar partner on all phases of litigation and regulatory engagement. The associate will lead document review teams, manage complex discovery and trial preparation, and support clients through interviews and testimony. The firm values associates who are proactive, strategic, and client-focused, especially those with a background in financial institution fraud, securities fraud, or investigations tied to the construction sector.

To be considered, candidates must be admitted in New York and have excellent academic credentials, superior writing skills, and sharp analytical judgment. Federal clerkship or prosecutorial experience is preferred but not required. Compensation includes a competitive base salary of $200K–$225K, a generous bonus structure, and an excellent benefits package.
