We have an exciting opportunity for a Cable Harness Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join our team in Rancho Bernardo! This position involves managing the design, development, and implementation of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with program office, design engineering, manufacturing, quality, and material planning to meet cost and schedule needs.
  • Plan and oversee manufacturing methods, processes, and operations to achieve business and safety goals.
  • Act as the primary contact for manufacturing engineering activities and participate in planning and review sessions.
  • Ensure testing throughout production to control variables and troubleshoot issues.
  • Monitor operations for regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Provide guidance on design concepts and specifications to optimize manufacturing.
  • Participate in talent development and maintain manufacturing excellence.
  • Support development of new business opportunities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with laws and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; 6+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing principles, standards (J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620), and experience with complex cable assemblies.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary range: $81,190 - $145,338. Employment type: Full-Time, Mid-Senior level.
