Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Matrimonial Attorney located in Queens, NY. The Matrimonial Attorney will be responsible for providing legal advice, representing clients in court, negotiating settlements, conducting legal research, and managing cases related to divorce, child custody, support, equitable distribution of property, and other family law issues. The role requires attentiveness to client needs and a strong understanding of the legal and emotional dimensions associated with matrimonial and family law cases.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Law and Matrimonial Family Law
• Experience in providing Legal Advice and Legal Representation
• Strong Research skills in legal contexts

Relevant skills and qualifications:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Empathetic and client-focused approach
• Ability to manage a high caseload and work collaboratively within a team
• Experience in dealing with high-net-worth individuals is a plus
• Juris Doctor degree and admission to the New York State Bar
