We are seeking a talented Senior Actuary to join our Consumer Markets Division (CMD) Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team in Newport Beach, CA or Omaha, NE . Candidates open to relocating are encouraged to apply.
This role is on-site at one of our offices in Newport Beach or Omaha.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze actual and expected spread income on fixed annuity and life insurance products.
- Build short-term and long-term forecasts with feedback loops to improve accuracy and understand driver variance.
- Communicate capital market impacts on GAAP, statutory, and economic frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams across Investments, Valuation, Pricing, and Inforce Management to refine projections and assumptions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, FSA designation, and 6+ years of relevant insurance experience.
- Knowledge of life and/or annuity products in Valuation, Modeling, or Pricing.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and consider downstream impacts of analysis.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of ALM or hedging strategies for life/annuity products.
- Experience with life/annuity reserve roll-forwards.
- Strong problem-solving skills in ambiguous situations.

Compensation and Benefits:
Base pay range: $163,620 - $199,980. Actual compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location. Employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
