Are you an experienced finance and accounting professional seeking a dynamic opportunity that goes beyond the traditional corporate structure? A prominent private investment firm is looking for a versatile VP of Finance & Investment Operations to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of asset classes and play a pivotal role in the financial management of a sophisticated and diverse investment portfolio.

This isn't just an accounting job; it's a chance to be a key player in the financial stewardship and operational excellence of a world-class enterprise. You'll contribute to the financial oversight of an expansive portfolio that spans private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and real estate , among others. This position offers a compelling mix of both high-level strategic involvement and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities -

• Investment Operations & Analysis : Lead the review and analysis of a multi-asset portfolio, ensuring accuracy and providing insightful performance metrics to senior leadership. This includes reviewing complex transactions and understanding their impact on financial statements.
• Financial Reporting & Management : Oversee the production of comprehensive financial statements and reports, ensuring adherence to best practices. You'll be instrumental in developing and refining the firm's financial processes and controls.
• Technology & Process Innovation : Champion the use of technology to enhance operational efficiency. This includes evaluating and implementing new systems, championing AI initiatives , and developing data-driven processes to support investment analysis and reporting.
• Strategic Initiatives : Work directly with senior management on a variety of non-routine projects, including new investment due diligence, financial modeling, and operational enhancements.
• Team Leadership : Guide and mentor a small, dedicated team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of precision and continuous improvement.
