Position Overview:
Norton Rose Fulbright seeks a counsel lawyer with at least two years of patent prosecution experience. The candidate should have expertise in 5G, Wi-Fi, wireless technologies, AI, processor and memory systems, image processing, and RF front-end. The role is open to Counsel and Senior Counsel levels, offering opportunities for career growth, including potential progression to Senior Counsel and Partnership, based on performance and contributions.
Key Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
- Minimum two years of patent prosecution experience
- Registration with or eligibility to register with the USPTO
- Admitted to and in good standing with the Bar or eligible for waiver
- Strong background in wireless tech, AI, processor/memory systems, image processing, RF front-end
- Excellent academic credentials and communication skills
Additional Skills:
- Experience managing client portfolios
- Domain expertise in autonomous vehicles, robotics, NLP, wireless communications, or related AI fields (preferred)
Location: This position can be based in any US office (e.g., New York, Chicago, LA, etc.). Applicants should specify their preferred office(s).
The annual salary range in key markets (NY, Denver, LA, SF) is $225,000–$315,000, with variations in other markets. Bonus opportunities depend on individual and firm performance.
