Insight Global is currently seeking a VTC Machinist for a direct-hire opportunity in Fond du Lac, WI. The pay for this position ranges from $26-33 per hour. As a Vertical Turning Center (VTC) Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC vertical lathes to produce precision components from metal or composite materials. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, setting up tooling and fixtures, and programming or editing G-code and M-code to control machine operations. The machinist ensures parts meet tight tolerances through careful measurement and inspection, while also performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep equipment running efficiently. Experience with vertical turning centers, strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
