Nurses with experience in areas such as Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care are strongly encouraged to apply.

Shift options include: day shift, night shift, and mid shift.

Job types available: full time, part time, and per diem.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree (ADN) or higher in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• At least 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficiency in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia symptoms
• Administer medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for patient transitions from OR to PACU to discharge
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies

Salary range: $75,000 to $150,000 per year.
