Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager
Position Overview:

We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Manager that is responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance clients, providing exceptional service while overseeing the day-to-day management of policies. This role includes maintaining client relationships, addressing their insurance needs, and ensuring coverage is up-to-date. The Account Manager will work closely with underwriters, carriers, and other team members to ensure the timely and accurate handling of accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Relationship Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for personal lines clients, ensuring excellent service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and responding to coverage needs.
  2. Policy Management : Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and changes, ensuring clients have the appropriate coverage for their homes, autos, and other personal assets.
  3. Claims Assistance : Support clients through the claims process by providing guidance, facilitating communication with carriers, and tracking the progress of claims.
  4. Quoting and Proposals : Provide accurate insurance quotes, prepare proposals, and present options to clients for new and existing accounts.
  5. Account Retention : Monitor client accounts for upcoming renewals, proactively addressing any concerns to ensure high retention rates.
  6. Compliance and Documentation : Ensure all policies and procedures comply with industry regulations and document all activities in the agency management system.
  7. Cross-Selling : Identify opportunities to offer additional lines of coverage, such as life, umbrella, or specialty insurance, based on client needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance, including home, auto, umbrella, and other coverages.
  2. Proven experience in client account management, customer service, or insurance operations.
  3. Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., EPIC, AMS360) and MS Office Suite.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. State Property & Casualty Insurance License.
  2. 3+ years of experience in personal lines account management.
  3. Experience working with multiple insurance carriers and their systems.
