TIG/MIG Welder

MINIMUM 2 YEARS OF RECENT WORK EXPERIENCE WITH TIG AND MIG WELDING.
Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced TIG/MIG Welder for a manufacturer of large industrial laundry machines in Hutchins, TX.
Schedule: Full Time (6:30 am - 3:00 pm Monday through Friday)
Requirements for TIG/MIG Welder:

• 2 years or more of experience with MIG/TIG welding, using (Aluminum, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel)
• Pass a drug screen and background check
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to use power and hand tools
• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience operating overhead cranes
• Prior experience in roles such as Welder/Fabricator, Combination Welder, TIG/MIG Welder, Production Welder, Structural Welder, Fitter/Welder, Manufacturing Welder, Custom Fabrication Welder, or Metal Fabricator/Welder is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the TIG/MIG Welder:

• Set up and maintain workstations
• Accurately read blueprints for various assemblies
• TIG/MIG weld small and large metals (Aluminum, Mild Steel or Stainless Steel) components
• Operate overhead cranes & forklifts
• Operate power and small hand tools (Ex. drills, grinders, plasma torch, etc.)
• Evaluate work and repair any flaws found
• Accurately use a tape measure to assure the accuracy of parts being produced
