OpenX is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Publisher Development to lead our publisher-facing Business Development and Account Management teams across North America (NAM) and global expansion into Latin America (LATAM). This high-impact executive will be responsible for driving regional strategy, growing revenue, increasing our omnichannel supply footprint, and breaking into new strategic categories of supply and data.

As a senior leader within the organization, the Vice President will play a critical role in shaping the future of OpenXs supply-side vision. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical understanding of programmatic advertising, a strategic mindset for business development and customer service, and a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams. This person will maintain executive-level relationships with top-tier publishers, serve as a market-facing representative of OpenX, and identify opportunities that shape our value proposition and market position.

The Vice President will collaborate closely with cross-functional leadership across Buyer Development, DSP Partnerships, Product, Finance, Legal, and HR. This person will report directly to the SVP, of Global Publisher Development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop mid-to-long-term strategy for the publisher business across NAM and LATAM including owning got to market, regional revenue targets, managing P&L, and planning headcount.

- Establish OpenX as a thought leader by maintaining a strong command of key industry topics such as curation, inventory quality, supply path optimization (SPO), connected TV (CTV), AI applications, and privacy-first solutions.

- Lead and develop a collaborative, high-performing team across business development and account management within the ad-tech ecosystem, providing strategic direction, clear goals, coaching, and professional development. Foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and thoughtful execution to drive revenue growth, strengthen publisher relationships, and deliver innovative, data-driven monetization solutions.

- Drive the new supply pipeline across CTV, web, in-app, digital out-of-home (DOOH), and audio publishers.

- Prospect and close strategic partners in emerging verticals such as retail media, gaming platforms, AI-driven applications, ride-share, and fitness technology.

- Provide strategic market intelligence to inform OpenXs product roadmap and go-to-market strategy, ensuring alignment with evolving publisher and buyer needs.

- Leverage AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency and improve customer service for publisher partners.

- Guide team through negotiations and structure complex commercial agreements, both regional and global, covering supply and data partnerships.

- Partner closely with buy-side teams to support strategic SPO engagements and pitches, representing OpenXs supply perspective.

- Serve as a senior spokesperson for OpenX, representing the company at industry events, panels, and with key stakeholders across the programmatic ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience in programmatic sales and operations within ad tech or on the publisher side, with a minimum of 5 years of leading a team.

- Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and leading high-performing, scalable teams

- Established relationships with premium publishers

- Deep technical knowledge of the programmatic ecosystem, including SSPs, DSPs, and publisher ad stacks

- Strong executive presence with strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with media, panel, and on-stage experience

- High energy, self-starter mentality with a startup mindset

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience in the LATAM and Canadian markets

- Spanish language proficiency

- Direct experience with CTV partnerships

- Familiarity with identity and audience targeting solutions

$270,000 - $295,000 a year
