Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Electronics Technicians for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
1 year of direct experience testing electronic assemblies
Proficient in component-level troubleshooting of solid state, digital, and RF circuits
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and data collection programs
Experience with flying probe and high-power testing
Ability to troubleshoot to the component level using schematic diagrams
Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry
Proficient with measurement devices including digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, frequency standards, signal generators, and RF power meters
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up test apparatus and conduct tests on electronic circuit card assemblies and RF circuits
Lay out and assemble units for production electronic equipment
Adjust and calibrate systems as required
Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components
Analyze test results and evaluate product performance
Assist engineers in developing test procedures and recommend product improvements
Troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry using schematics
Support production in a dynamic environment and meet customer schedules
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
Extensive RF testing experience
Familiarity with radar systems
Military "backshop" experience in repair and troubleshooting
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Accredited High School Diploma or Equivalent with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree
WORK HOURS:
4/10 work schedule
1st Shift
Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM EST
Overtime available on weekends
