As a Physical Therapist, you will use a hands-on, family-focused approach to services that strives to increase parents understanding of their childs strengths & needs, & supports parents in learning how to foster their childs growth & development.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate children's performance using standardized measures, focusing on postural control, mobility, muscle tone, range of motion, and adaptive device needs
- Provide transdisciplinary services to families and children, developing and following up on treatment goals within the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP)
- Collaborate with staff, families, physicians, and agencies for team-based treatment planning and service delivery
- Maintain client records per Department of Public Health and Eliot protocols and ensure compliance with clinical standards and regulations
- Participate in professional development, attend seminars, and complete required EI Specialist Certification for staff working 20+ hours with service coordination
- Registered in Massachusetts by the Board of Registration in Allied Health
- Experience working with infant and early childhood
- Valid Massachusetts Drivers License
Hourly Rate
$70 - $70 USD
