Position Details

WVU Medicine, West Virginia University Health System Medical Group (WVUHS Medical Group), is recruiting a Hospitalist Physician at Thomas Health System in Charleston, WV, and South Charleston, WV.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for patients with diseases and injuries of the internal organ systems.
• Establish preventive health practices for patients.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree or foreign equivalent.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for West Virginia Medical License.
• Board eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.

All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Location

Charleston, WV, is at the confluence of the Kanawha and Elk rivers, with major interstates providing easy access. The city offers a rich history, a growing arts scene, and recreational opportunities along the rivers.
