As a Truck Driver, you'll engage in a diverse range of skilled tasks essential for the operation and service of trucks and specialized wheeled equipment. Your responsibilities will include the construction, maintenance, and repair of county roads and service systems. You'll expertly operate snow removal and sanding equipment to ensure safe travel conditions, applying ice control materials where necessary. Your day-to-day duties will involve operating various transport vehicles, including gravel trucks and flatbeds, to transport materials like asphalt and debris. You'll also perform daily preventive maintenance and safety inspections to ensure optimal operation.
Assisting in seasonal operations such as patching and tree trimming will be part of your role, as will adhering to all safety policies. A commitment to reliable attendance and performance is critical, along with the flexibility to take on additional job-related duties as needed.

- Some knowledge of the principles and techniques of heavy mechanized equipment operations; hazards and safety standards common in medium and heavy equipment operation and maintenance and repair.
- Skill in operation of light to medium duty equipment.
- Ability to operate various kinds of light to medium duty equipment; perform strenuous labor for extended periods of time under varying conditions; follow instructions; establish effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Idaho Class "A" Commercial Drivers License, must be able to be flagger certified, and may be required to obtain "Tanker" endorsement.
