- Hourly Rate: $17.65/hr

- Valid Colorado Driver's License required; CDL class A or B with S and P endorsements preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent education required; Minimum age of 18
- A positive individual with a neat, clean appearance; pleasant, courteous demeanor
- Proven work record demonstrating reliability, flexibility, and initiative
- Must pass a background check (a $40.00 fee for a background check is required)
- Ability and demeanor to instruct and control large groups of children or special needs children while safely driving the bus
- Knowledge of discipline strategies is preferred
- Able to pass written tests and First Aid/CPR course
- Excellent driving record
- Must be willing to pay a fee for a CDL Physical and Pre-Employment Drug Test
- Operates assigned school bus in compliance with procedures contained in the District's policy and procedures, including all local, state, and federal laws
- Performs daily pre- and post-route safety inspections on assigned vehicles. Services the vehicle as required
- Maintains student conduct that ensures the safety of all students
- Coordinates with dispatch and scheduling personnel to ensure all required information is current and accurate
- Completes appropriate paperwork promptly
- Attends training programs, meetings, and in-services as required by the District or the state
- Administers first aid as necessary
- Possesses skills to utilize basic technology as directed by the District to communicate and function effectively as a 21st-century employee.
- Report all accidents/incidents immediately to transportation management or appropriate authorities
