Summary:
The Bus Driver drives ICC vehicles transporting students, faculty and staff. The Bus Driver reports to the Campus Police Department, but works closely with the Athletics, Academics, and Student Life departments. The Bus Driver drives to and from events such as sporting events and field trips; the schedule is irregular and is on an on-call basis.
Compensation for the Bus Driver is a flat rate of $24.00 an hour.

1. Drive groups including students, faculty, and staff to and from events.
2. Provide customer service to passengers.
3. Ensure all safety regulations and guidelines are met including following all traffic laws and regulations.
4. Perform related duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required to satisfactorily perform the essential duties and responsibilities.
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Must possess or obtain a valid CDL Class C License with Passenger Endorsement within 90 days of hire.
3. Must have a good driving history that allows for insurability with college vehicles.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain cooperative and professional working relationships with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Current CDL Class C License with Passenger Endorsement.
2. Airbrake endorsement.
3. Experience working as a bus driver or in a related field.
4. Experience working in higher education or with students.
