Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery - $2,740 per week in Morgantown, WV

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, NRP Must-Have: Experience in Labor and Delivery EPIC experience IV placement experience C-section experience Description: Night shift RN needed for the Birthing Center. Scheduled for 36 hours a week with an additional 24 hours on-call within a 4-week period. The unit has 13 labor and delivery beds, 8 triage beds, and 17 postpartum beds. Currently averaging 7.2 births per day. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:1 for active labor, 1:3 for triage, and 1:6 for postpartum/mom-baby. Charge Nurse and House Supervisor are scheduled on every shift. Nurse aides and OB techs are available on each shift. Weekend requirement includes working 3 weekends and 2 Fridays. There is no call requirement. Holidays are rotated per unit policy. Common diagnoses include high-risk labor and antepartum cases. Floating may be required. Floor-specific orientation will be provided.
