We are seeking a General Construction Laborer for a Temporary position with our client, a general contractor located in Central Point, Oregon. The General Construction Laborer will play an essential role in assisting in various construction products. This is a great opportunity to assist a general contractor, located in Central Point, Oregon .
As a General Construction Laborer , you will be responsible for:
- Assist contractors with day-to-day tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects run smoothly and safely.
- Lift, carry, and move materials such as lumber, tools, and equipment as required.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery (such as saws, drills, hammers etc) to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear necessary protective gear at all times.
- Knowledge of how to read a level and tape measure a must
- Previous experience using a grinder preferred but not required
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs consistently and stand for long periods.
