You'll work closely with physicians, support minor procedures, and help keep our clinics running smoothly.
Medical Assistant Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):
Clinical Support

  • Greet and room patients, record vitals, update EMR
  • Assist with in-office procedures (injections, wart removal, nail care, minor surgeries)
  • Perform basic podiatric care and apply DME, dressings, and strappings
  • Take X-rays and manage lab specimens
Administrative Duties

Clinic Operations
  • Prep and clean exam rooms, sterilize instruments
  • Manage back-office supplies and DME inventory
  • Travel to support both local office locations
Medical Assistant Required Skills and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA preferred) OR 1+ year of experience in a similar clinical role
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT and ICD-9 codes, and insurance processes (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy practices (mandatory)
  • Technologically savvy; proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
