The Print Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the daily operations of the wide-format print production team. This includes managing team members, ensuring high-quality output of printed posters and framed art, and meeting daily shipping deadlines. The Supervisor will train staff on proper procedures, enforce production standards, and communicate maintenance needs to the Print Operations Manager. Additional responsibilities include inventory management and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Specific Duties and General Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the production team to meet daily print and shipping goals.
- Provide ongoing training, support, and feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Coordinate with the Print Operations Manager to schedule print jobs and ensure deadlines are met.
- Monitor daily workflow and address issues as they arise to minimize downtime.
- Enforce quality assurance protocols to ensure all printed materials meet established standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of printed materials to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of printing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot print equipment when malfunctions occur.
- Promptly report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs to the Print Operations Manager.
- Track and manage inventory levels for materials, inks, and supplies.
- Communicate supply needs in a timely manner to avoid disruptions in production.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience using Onyx Thrive RIP (or similar) software.
- Familiarity with HP and Epson wide-format printers.
SKILLS
- Able to troubleshoot basic print machine issues and malfunctions.
- Ability to work as a team member.
- Track record of success meeting tight production deadlines.
- Flexible and adaptable attitude to handle seasonal workload fluctuations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Be able to lift 50-60 lbs
- Requires periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
