Position Summary:

The Bobst Die Cutter Operator is responsible for producing high-quality, accurately printed and/or die-cut materials in accordance with customer specifications. This role ensures safe, efficient machine operation while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. The operator will also support training initiatives, collaborate with the pre-press department, and assist with routine maintenance and troubleshooting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, load, and operate the Bobst die-cutting machine efficiently and safely
  • Review work orders, die vinyls, and job specifications to determine proper machine settings and components
  • Ensure finished products meet customer and internal quality standards
  • Make necessary adjustments to machine controls for proper alignment and cutting
  • Select and install tooling components such as cutting dies and templates
  • Monitor machine operation closely to identify and address any malfunctions
  • Measure and inspect die-cut materials for accuracy using die vinyls and other tools
  • Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of machines to ensure proper functionality
  • Communicate breakdowns or maintenance issues promptly
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 5 years preferred in die-cutting operations
  • Ability to read and interpret job bags, work orders, and production instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. regularly
  • Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
