Position Overview:

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney with +3 years of experience practicing in New York to join our growing team. This role will focus heavily on premises liability and motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases. The ideal candidate is a motivated litigator who can independently manage a caseload from filing through trial preparation and has strong courtroom experience. The position will work out of our Downtown Manhattan location (1 State St 15th Floor, New York, NY 10004)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
  • Conduct depositions, court conferences, and motion arguments
  • Develop case strategies and evaluate case value
  • Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation/arbitration where appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and effective case progression


Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar
  • +3 years of litigation experience in personal injury, specifically in premises liability and motor vehicle accidents
  • Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills required
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy abilities
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and efficiently
  • Strong work ethic and a client-focused mindset
