Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial underwriting experience (BOP or small commercial)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
- Familiarity with P&C insurance products, rating platforms, and underwriting tools
- Designations like CIC, CPCU, or AU are a plus
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Description:
- Underwrite and select profitable new and renewal small commercial BOP accounts
- Lead agency engagement through field visits, product training, and submission quality feedback
- Collaborate with Distribution and Product teams on territory strategy and product appetite
- Analyze risk, price appropriately, and apply underwriting judgment aligned with portfolio goals
- Manage inspection reports, endorsements, and risk improvement actions
- Monitor agency performance and support underwriting process enhancements
- Up to 30% travel required within assigned territory
