Now Hiring: Cable Assemblers – Poway, CA
We’re hiring Cable Assemblers to join a leading defense and diversified technologies company.

Location: Poway, CA
Pay Rate:
• 1st Shift (5:00 AM – 2:30 PM): $25.96/hr
• 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 12:30 AM): $27.26/hr
Duration: 6 Months (with potential to extend)
What You'll Do:
- Assemble electronic and mechanical components, including cables, harnesses, and panels
- Build cables up to 4 miles long, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Read and interpret wiring schematics, blueprints, and wire lists
- Follow detailed written instructions (must be able to read English fluently)
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision
- Perform setups, adjustments, rework, and inspections as needed
- Use various tools, including hot tweezers, soldering irons, compression tools, calipers, tape measures, and power tools
- Apply soldering techniques (soldering certificate preferred)
- Follow IPC-620 standards (certification a plus)
- Understand and interpret engineering terminology, specifications, and documentation
- Support team training efforts and assist with general cleanup and housekeeping duties
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Ability to read blueprints and assembly diagrams
- Familiarity with tools and warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to lift/move materials as needed
- Eligibility for DoD Security Clearance
