Superintendent

A well-established civil construction contractor in the Timonium, MD area is seeking an experienced Paving Superintendent to join their team. This leadership role will oversee MDOT, highway, and site work projects throughout Maryland.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage paving crews on highway, road, and site work projects
• Oversee project schedules, quality control, and safety compliance
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to ensure efficient operations
• Provide leadership and training to field staff

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years as an Asphalt Paving Foreman or 5–7 years of road construction experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• High school diploma required; college coursework in Construction, Engineering, or Business preferred
• Experience in civil site work, MDOT, or government contract projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Compensation:

• $100K–$115K base salary + bonus potential
• Full-time, field-based role with projects throughout Maryland
