Job Overview:
The Manufacturing HR Manager oversees all human resources functions within a manufacturing setting. This role involves developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Hiring : Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
- Policy Development : Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure a productive and compliant workplace.
- Employee Relations : Handle employee relations issues, resolve conflicts, and address grievances.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws and regulations.
- Performance Management : Oversee performance appraisal systems and manage employee performance evaluations.
- Training and Development : Organize and conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Compensation and Benefits : Administer compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) is preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills : Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
