The Vice President of Construction will play a pivotal role in leading our construction division, driving business development, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in project management and process improvement. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all construction operations, managing profit and loss, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage multiple commercial build-out projects from pre-construction through final completion.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and general contractors to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor budgets, job costs, and change orders, while ensuring all necessary permits, inspections, and compliance documentation are properly obtained and maintained.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business development and growth opportunities.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and subcontractors to facilitate successful project outcomes.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and development.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the construction industry.
  • Strong skills in business development, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage profit and loss effectively.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team leadership and development.
  • Proficient in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational performance.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience may substituted for formal education.

Job Type: Full-time


Pay: Up to $125,000.00 per year
