- Review and approve P&IDs, layouts, and detailed drawings
- Coordinate internal design staff, external consultants, and subcontracted engineers
- Lead BIM coordination and clash detection workflows
- Drive value engineering to improve efficiency, space, and energy performance
- Interface with permitting authorities and support regulatory design submittals
- Collaborate closely with construction and validation leads to ensure seamless execution
- Mentor junior engineers and reinforce a culture of quality and safety
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of facility design experience, including at least 3 years in clean, high-spec, or controlled environments
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and BIM360
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams under tight schedules
- Strong understanding of environmental controls, contamination prevention, and integrated utility systems
Preferred:
- Experience with Texas-based projects
- Familiarity with commissioning and startup interface
- Exposure to international project teams
- LEED certification or sustainable design experience
- EPCM or Design-Build background.
