Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international Agri-commodities trading firm looking to hire a Marketing and Sales Manager to join their US team.


Key Responsibilities / Tasks


  • Initially drive sales of hulled sesame seeds and other commodities to importers, food processor and distributors in the US market.
  • Build and manage the customer base in the USA – remaining as the main contact for all US-based clients.
  • Coordinate with the operation and other global teams to ensure efficient processed and stay informed on pricing, customer needs and competitors activity.
  • Monitor market trends and identify new market opportunities, exploring the potential of other product lines (including soybean meal, edible nuts, spices, pulses and other grains).
  • Role reports to Marketing Director


Key Qualifications / Experience


  • At least 8 years within soft commodity sales, preferably within relevant markets (including sesame seeds, canola seeds, cashews, almonds, spices and other nuts/oilseeds).
  • Must have experience within the bakery industry, having connections across the USA.
  • Familiarity with US importers, food safety standards and sales models (e.g. CAD and stock-and-sale) is an advantage.
  • Must be authorised to work in the US and be willing and able to travel as needed.
  • Role is to be located in the USA, preferably East Coast
