  • Salary: $60,000 base + commission (negotiable)

SUMMARY:

  • The Logistics Account Executive is responsible for managing freight operations for current member accounts while also developing new business relationships. This role requires a proactive and consultative approach to build trust, enhance company capabilities, and ensure service excellence. Duties include freight sales, marketing, customer pricing, and operational execution


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as a knowledgeable consultant to members, providing insights on services, market trends, and industry standards
  • Develop tailored strategies and solutions to support members' long-term goals and overcome logistical challenges
  • Sustain and grow customer relationships within assigned accounts
  • Follow established operating procedures and protocols
  • Contribute to annual sales and volume targets by prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business, while expanding usage among current members
  • Maintain proactive communication about customer payment status, operational issues, pricing, and leads
  • Promote the organization's benefits throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula through sales calls, events, and marketing efforts
  • Assist in creating contract pricing for specific member needs
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts in the CRM system


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (preferred)
  • At least 3–5 years of consultative sales experience, ideally in logistics or transportation
  • Prior experience in the transportation sector, especially LTL (preferred)
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong relationship-building abilities both internally and externally
  • Demonstrated integrity, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic
  • Solid knowledge of freight, warehousing, and trucking industries
  • Persuasive negotiator with confidence and resilience
  • Professional demeanor and strong conflict resolution skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities
  • Capable of making independent decisions with minimal supervision
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet performance metrics
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service
