Job Brief:
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage on-site operations from start to finish. The ideal candidate will lead field activities, coordinate subcontractors, enforce quality and safety standards, and ensure that all work aligns with project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations on the construction site.
- Coordinate labor, subcontractors, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality control, safety compliance, and site cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with the project manager, engineers, inspectors, and clients.
- Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
- Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, inspections, and progress photos.
- Lead site meetings and provide updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent or similar role in construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction procedures, safety practices, and quality standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with project management software and MS Office.
- OSHA certification and other relevant safety training preferred.
- High school diploma required; a degree in construction management or related field is a plus.
