Summary

We are seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent to oversee all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing field operations on commercial construction projects in the Dallas area. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely, and high-quality execution of MEP scopes from preconstruction through closeout. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background, proven field leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively with subcontractors, project managers, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily on-site MEP activities including installation, inspection, and coordination of subcontractors

  • Review construction documents, MEP drawings, and shop drawings for accuracy and constructability

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and design consultants to resolve field conflicts and ensure alignment with project goals

  • Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing proactive updates and solutions to avoid delays

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, quality control protocols, and local building codes

  • Oversee MEP system startup, testing, and commissioning activities

  • Ensure accurate documentation and turnover, including redlines, O&M manuals, and training materials

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of MEP field supervision experience on commercial construction projects

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems , including code compliance

  • Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore , Bluebeam , MS Office )

  • OSHA 30 certification (required)

  • Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and submittals

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Experience
  • Experience with healthcare, tenant improvements, or fast-track commercial projects

  • Familiarity with commissioning processes , QA/QC standards, and phased construction

  • Background coordinating multiple MEP trades on active job sites
