Compensation: $70,000-$90,000

We are a boutique home design and development company based in San Diego, specializing in high-end single- and multi-family properties. Our experienced, tight-knit team manages projects across the county with a focus on quality craftsmanship, elegant design, and seamless execution. As we grow, we’re looking for a Construction Project Manager to help us stay organized, efficient, and on-track.


About the Role:

We're looking for a highly organized, self-starting individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has previous experience in residential construction, remodeling, or design. You’ll work closely with the General Contractor to coordinate the moving parts of multiple high-end construction projects.


This is not a remote position . You must be based in San Diego and able to work onsite at our Downtown office (near Petco Park) approximately 50% of the time. The remaining time will involve traveling to job sites, picking up materials, and assisting with offsite tasks (some of which may be executed remotely).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project tasks and updates using Housecall Pro home services management software
  • Track and communicate changes to budgets, timelines, and calendars
  • Serve as a point of contact between vendors, suppliers, construction crews, and internal team members
  • Coordinate material pick-ups, deliveries, and field visits as needed
  • Facilitate real-time communication across all active job sites
  • Maintain up-to-date records, photos, and documentation on project progress
  • Ensure details are never missed—large or small—and help keep every element of the project on time and on spec
  • Help to maintain quality control and ensure high standards of excellence are met down to the smallest details across projects


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential construction, home development, design, or remodeling
  • Hands-on experience using Housecall Pro is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of the construction process and common project workflows
  • Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel reimbursements provided)
  • Comfortable working from both our Downtown San Diego office and on-site locations across the county
  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented — if you live by checklists, you’ll thrive here
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, collaborative attitude — this is a team-first environment where flexibility is key
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like G Suite and Asana

Preferred (but not required):

  • Experience in long-term rental property development or management
  • Familiarity with other construction/project management tools
  • Background in high-end or custom home construction environments
