Lead the Work That Builds the Future.

W.A. Rasic Construction is seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in wet utility infrastructure to lead the execution of complex projects across Southern California. This is a boots-on-the-ground role that requires technical fluency, planning mastery, and sharp leadership instincts.

If you have a background in water, sewer, and storm drain construction—and a passion for delivering work that lasts—you’ll thrive here.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead field execution for wet utility pipeline projects, from preconstruction through close-out.
  • Manage subcontractors, crews, logistics, equipment, materials, and daily production.
  • Coordinate directly with inspectors, agencies, clients, and internal teams to ensure compliance, performance, and clear communication.
  • Oversee scheduling (CPM), cost tracking, change orders, and quality control documentation.
  • Resolve field issues and support safe, productive execution through effective site leadership.
  • Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and specifications to ensure accurate project delivery.
  • Collaborate with estimating teams on change events, buyouts, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Train, mentor, and develop assistant PMs and project engineers.

What You Bring

  • 5–10+ years of experience managing underground wet utility construction projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of water, sewer, storm drain systems, live tie-ins, trench safety, and shoring methods.
  • Experience with pump stations, mechanical piping, and treatment plant infrastructure preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management platforms & industry software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Primavera, etc.)
  • Ability to read plans and specs; proactively identify risk and drive solutions.
  • Solid leadership and field coordination skills—you manage the chaos without letting it manage you.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience preferred.

Why W.A. Rasic

  • Competitive pay and benefits: 100% employer-paid medical/dental/vision for employees.
  • 401(k), profit sharing, and bonus program.
  • Company vehicle.
  • Long-term partnerships with public agencies, private clients, and regional developers.
  • Continuing education and training opportunities.
  • A culture that values grit, quality, safety, and mentorship.

Pay Range

$130,000 – $175,000/year , depending on experience and qualifications.

(W.A. Rasic will consider higher compensation for exceptional candidates.)
