Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to join our team in overseeing the successful execution of architectural wall projects and commercial office furniture projects. This role is central to ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, vendors, designers, and internal teams to manage logistics, budgets, timelines, delivery, and on-site installations. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of the commercial office furniture or construction industry.


This is a full-time, hybrid role , with time split between remote work, job-site visits, and in-person collaboration at our Franklin Lakes, NJ office.


Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination

  • Review project scopes with Sales, Design, and Client teams, covering furniture, operable walls, accessories, and signage
  • Lead kickoff meetings and participate in ongoing project and construction meetings (virtual or in-person)
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely procurement and delivery
  • Oversee field verification and confirm site measurements for accuracy and completeness
  • Align project plans with architectural drawings, specifications, and client expectations

On-Site Management

  • Act as the primary on-site contact during delivery and installation phases
  • Manage logistics including building access, staging areas, elevator use, and coordination with general contractors and trades
  • Supervise delivery teams, installers, and specialty trades to ensure quality and schedule adherence
  • Monitor site progress, resolve issues promptly, and communicate status updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies throughout installation

Project Execution & Closeout

  • Facilitate installation documentation and coordinate installer activities
  • Conduct client walkthroughs, create punch lists, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items
  • Manage change orders and scope adjustments in collaboration with Sales and Operations teams
  • Coordinate end-user training and product orientation in partnership with manufacturers
  • Ensure proper cleanup and removal of excess materials post-installation
  • Complete all project documentation and support final client approvals and closeout





Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience in commercial office furniture, construction, or operable/architectu

  • ty to read and interpret construction drawings and architectural plans
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines

    • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management software is a plus
    • Ability to work on-site and travel within the NYC metro area
    • Project Management certification (a plus)
    • Familiarity with NYC construction site logistics and regulations (a plus)





    Compensation & Benefits

    • Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000, commensurate based on factors including, but not limited to, skills and prior relevant experience
