Position Overview

Amergis is seeking a dedicated and compassionateNurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our school-based health team at Roosevelt High School. This is alocum tenens opportunity focused on delivering high-quality, culturally competent primary care to a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services with a focus on prevention and health promotion
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and develop treatment plans
• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients from diverse backgrounds, including refugees and low-income populations
• Collaborate with school staff and other healthcare professionals to support student wellness
• Maintain accurate documentation
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and equitable work environment

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• No on-call or callback duties

Qualifications

• ActiveOregon NP or PA license (required)
• CurrentBLS andDEA certifications
• Minimum1 year of NP/PA experience
• EMREPIC (experience strongly preferred)
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred – please indicate language proficiency upon submission

• Patient Volume: 8–14 patients/day
