**Job Description:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This position is critical to delivering high-quality imaging services in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency with Phillips MRI systems, with a preference for those who have experience with 1.5 Tesla machines.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform MRI scans and ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.
- Administer contrast agents and other medications as required, ensuring compliance with all regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver accurate imaging results and timely reporting.
- Operate MRI equipment efficiently while adhering to best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain patient records accurately using the Epic charting system.
- Participate in on-call duties as necessary, ensuring availability during assigned shifts.
**Requirements:**
- Valid New York MRI Technologist license and ARRT (MR) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work evening shifts, specifically from 1 PM to 11 PM, on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
- Willingness to be on call as required.
**Shift Details:**
- Shift Length: 8 hours
- Schedule: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
- On-call requirement
**Additional Information:**
- Parking reimbursement is provided at a minimum rate of $1.25 per hour.
- The position guarantees 37.5 hours per week over a contract period of 91 weeks.
