Schedule: 3x12s – 36 hours/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirement: Rotating

Unit Overview:

• Dual level-of-care unit:Telemetry + PCU

• DesignatedPrimary Stroke Center

• Unit Size: 25 beds (9 designated PCU beds)

• Patient Ratios:

  • PCU: 1:3

  • Telemetry/Floor: 1:5–6

• Common Diagnoses: Chest pain, stroke, respiratory failure, sepsis

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years PCU experience required

• EPIC EMR experience required

• Must be comfortable with a mixed acuity unit

Certifications Required:

• NIHSS

• BLS (AHA)

• ACLS
