Job Title: RN Cath Lab

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Job Description:
- Prepare and assess patients pre- and post-cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures including angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
- Monitor patient’s hemodynamic status and ECG during procedures.
- Administer medications and IV sedation under physician direction.
- Maintain sterile field and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
- Respond to emergencies in the lab with appropriate nursing interventions.
- Collaborate with interventional cardiologists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures and post-operative care.
Qualifications:
One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area years of Med/Surg experience
Additional Requirements:
- IL RN License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
