Seeking Line Cooks for New Restaurant in Rhinebeck, NY
Join us in creating something extraordinary! From the team behind INNESS, Lola Pizza, Ray’s Bar and Freemans, Little Goat is a new cafe, market and restaurant that celebrates the beauty of farm-to-table dining in the Hudson Valley. We focus on vegetable-forward dishes, housemade pasta, local meats and freshly baked goods. We are looking for enthusiastic and talented line cooks to help bring this vision to life.
The Role:
- You are responsible for your station including proper mise en place, set up and execution of food items during service.
- Communication with Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to complete daily tasks as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Maintaining sanitation standards.
- AM and PM shifts available.
- Full-time and Part-time availability.
- Open 5 days/week, Wednesday - Sunday, to start
- Pay is commensurate with experience!
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 Year of hospitality experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidates.
- Culinary Arts degree or advanced culinary arts certification is a plus but not required.
- A love for farm-to-table cooking and an enthusiasm and willingness to learn about and prepare vegetable-focused dishes and housemade pastas with an emphasis on Mediterranean favors and spices.
- Commitment to maintaining exceptional food quality and an impeccable kitchen environment.
- Reliable; able to get to work on time and stay focused and efficient.
