Position Overview

ProMach's Brenton division is seeking a talented Senior Financial Analyst. This role partners with Operational Managers and Leaders through forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting for Brenton and ProMach leadership. The position reports to the Controller and is located in Alexandria, MN.

Brenton, based in Alexandria, MN, manufactures case packers, palletizers, shrink-wrapping machines, and complete End of Line packaging systems for the food & beverage and consumer packaged goods markets. It is a division of Pro Mach, a leading provider of packaging and processing solutions globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial reports and project financials weekly.
  • Complete weekly financial projections and highlight key insights.
  • Partner with Finance/Accounting and Project Managers on order updates in ERP.
  • Contribute to monthly project forecast reporting.
  • Coordinate month-end and year-end financial activities.
  • Manage operational accruals and month-end journal entries.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure ledger accuracy.
  • Prepare monthly reports and participate in audits.
  • Collaborate on strategic planning with leadership.
  • Assist in budgeting processes and system improvements.
  • Support operational and leadership teams with financial insights.
  • Learn and utilize reporting tools like Spotlight, Smartsheets, Planful, and Tableau.
  • Document procedures and seek process improvements.
  • Handle ad hoc requests from leadership.

Qualifications
  • Knowledge of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related experience.
  • At least five years of financial reporting experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and trustworthy work ethic.


Additional Information
