Cypress HCM
The Production Chemist formulates products and intermediates utilizing biologicals and chemicals of varying properties and characteristics in order to meet specifications
Responsibilities:
- Bulk formulating products of low to medium complexity including intermediates in accordance with approved written procedures and policies.
- Perform data entry and inventory control utilizing the ERP database.
- Completing production documentation and maintaining quality records to GDP/GMP standards.
- Coordinate prioritize and plan lab tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Follows controlled Standard Operation Procedures/ documents.
- Monitors manufacturing processes and performs adjustments when necessary to meet required yields.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a life science or related field
- Experience working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent.
- Ability to follow guidelines and handle hazardous materials safely.
- Ability to work in a product team and make decision of limited scope, subject to review.
- Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
- Must be experienced in using ERP systems- SAP a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Excel and Word.
- Basic working knowledge of laboratory environments, materials, and equipment.
