Position Summary
The Senior Accountant plays a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of the ENT and Allergy Support Center. This position is responsible for overseeing complex accounting functions, maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, and supporting strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in accounting principles, healthcare finance, and cross-functional collaboration to support the center's mission of delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee various balance sheet reconciliations (bank, inventory, receivables, etc.)
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reclassifications
  • Analyze and review monthly P&Ls for practices
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, HIPPA, and other healthcare-specific regulations
  • Monitor and maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules
  • Support annual audit processes, including preparation of schedules and coordination with external auditors
  • Lead some month-end and year-end close processes
  • Cross collaborate with operations and various other departments to align financial operations and organization goals

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification required
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • 2+ years in accounting, audit experience, a plus
  • Experience with Sage Intaact, a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skill, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Experience in healthcare, private equity, or multi-site operations a plus
