Pay Range: $38,900.00 - $50,200.00

Building/Office based. Must be able to work in the office at least one to two days per week. Will work from home remaining days of the week.

Job Summary:
Responsible for general accounting functions relating to payroll, Accounts Receivables and Payables, account reconciliations, cost allocations
Essential Functions:
- General accounting in processing accounts payables check requests, expense reports, provider, and vendor payments, import payment files into Financial Edge accounting system in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform and review financial transactions, including classifying, verifying and accurate recording accounts payable data in Financial Edge.
- Review general ledger expense coding procedures of accounts payable invoices for various payment methods.
- Review corporate credit card transactions and reconcile monthly credit card statement.
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers, transactions, and aging reports to ensure all invoices and payments are accurately processed and posted.
- Process and track credits applied to provider, and vendor accounts.
- Update vendor master data for customers and vendors in ERP System.
- Daily management of the Paymerang system for invoice processing to submit vendor payments.
- Process and submit annual Unclaimed Funds to the State of Ohio.
- Perform accounting tasks essential to month-end closing process.
- Understand compliance issues involving accounts payable processes of 1099's, W-9, sales tax, etc.
- Associate Degree in Accounting, preferred bachelor's degree, business or related field or equivalent with three (3) years' work experience with general ledger activities, preferably Blackbaud-Financial Edge.
- A comprehensive understanding of accounting procedures and practices,contract billing, payroll, cost allocation and grant reporting in a multi-user environment, preferably a non-profit organization.
- Financial analysis of expenditure accounts.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Outlook, various databases, and accounting software.
- Critical thinking skills

- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently.
