What You'll Do
As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in our day-to-day financial operations while helping drive process improvements and system enhancements. Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and financial statements
Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Ensuring full compliance with GAAP and company policies
Managing tax filings (sales/use, property, corporate income)
Supporting audit readiness by creating detailed schedules and documentation
Overseeing bank reconciliations and cash flow reports
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Entering and validating project labor data in SAP
What You Bring
3-5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting best practices
Proficiency in SAP Business One (SQL and Crystal Reports a plus)
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
Experience with payroll systems-preferably ADP
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (B.S.B.A. preferred)
