Job Title: Senior Tax Accountant

Location: Tampa, FL

Compensation: $80k-$100k Base

Job Type: Full Time

What Were Looking For:

• The ideal candidate has 5+ years of income tax experience
• Public Accounting or Industry experience (preferred)
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, equivalent (required)
• CPA preferred but not required

What Youll Be Doing:

• Lead preparation of long-term tax forecasts and support modeling efforts tied to financial reporting, planning, and major transactions
• Conduct in-depth research on complex tax topics, including entity structure, revenue classification, lease arrangements, and regulatory changes
• Oversee the preparation and timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns while ensuring compliance and maintaining accurate documentation
• Serve as the primary contact for tax audits and external advisors, coordinating reviews and responding to inquiries across jurisdictions
• Maintain and improve systems for tracking tax-related data, reporting requirements, and internal compliance across multiple asset types
• Review work completed by tax team members, offer guidance, and step in when needed to ensure continuity and accuracy
• Provide strategic tax insights to leadership and contribute to the evaluation of corporate initiatives with potential tax implications
