SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Position Summary: The Program Supervisor I is responsible for the oversight and evaluation of assigned programs and contracts within Domestic Violence Services for Families. This role involves strategic planning, coordination, and continuous monitoring to ensure high-quality service delivery. The position requires 24-hour on-call availability to respond to urgent needs.
Program Overview: Domestic Violence Services for Families provides a comprehensive range of support services-including individual, group, and family counseling-for men, women, and children. The program is dedicated to the prevention and intervention of domestic violence, with a strong focus on enhancing family safety, promoting child resilience, and supporting overall well-being.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Master's degree in social work, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Other (Specify):
- Over two years of human services experience.
- One year of administrative or supervisory experience.
- Over two years of work experience in domestic violence or related field.
- Two years of experience working with children, knowledge of child development, and knowledge of domestic violence and its effects on children and substance abuse
- Knowledge of program concentration
- Over two years, up to and including four years.
- Knowledge of area of program concentration and experience with participant population.
- This job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and use of personal vehicle to transport participants, as needed, as well as a willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.
