Position Overview
We have twoimmediate openings for Core Faculty members in our Family Medicine Residency Program. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a progressive and collaborative team committed to training and developing future family practitioners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, leadership, and clinical excellence in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Required Skills
- Actively teach residents in inpatient and clinical practice
- Oversee the education and performance of residents in an inpatient and outpatient setting
- OB Optional. Supervision of outpatient prenatal care of residents is required
- Inpatient rounding with residents every 4-6 weeks*
- Oversee 1-2 program wide quality improvement projects
- Help lead one of the residencys committees
- Provide about 8-12 lectures on various topics throughout the year
- Be able to perform and supervise common outpatient musculoskeletal, skin and gynecologic procedures
Required Experience
- BC / BE (must be board certified within 3 years of eligibility)
- EOE/drug screen required
- Spanish speaking is a plus
- Inpatient experience preferred
- The ideal candidates will be either Geriatrics, Palliative Care or Sports Medicine Fellowship trained Family Medicine physician The Geriatrics or Palliative Care faculty will help lead our Geriatrics-Palliative Care track
- The Sports Medicine faculty will lead the residencys musculoskeletal rotation and curriculum
