Through its affiliated nationally licensed third-party administrator (TPA), Careington also delivers full-scale administrative services, including customer service, licensed enrollment, claims administration, individual and group billing and more.
This is a Full-Time Hybrid position, requiring 3 days onsite within one of our Frisco, TX locations. Required onsite days are Tuesday and Thursday. Selected candidate can chose the 3rd day.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Validate monthly commissions.
- Analyze and validate various reports.
- Convert data into professional, easily understandable formats for diverse audiences, including departments and doctors.
- Enter journal entries and bank transactions in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Process manual payments and postings in Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Prepare and audit journal entries to support bank reconciliations.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports from multiple systems, including Microsoft Dynamics GP.
- Maintain and update incoming payment and banking forms.
- Organize historical financial documents in network folders.
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects and initiatives.
- Process and reconcile vendor and employee payments and invoices.
- Record transactions by analyzing invoices, assigning correct expense codes, and verifying ledgers.
- Monitor payment schedules and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders and documentation.
- Maintain account ledgers and reconcile vendor statements.
- Manage petty cash disbursements and ensure proper documentation.
- Strong understanding of full-cycle bank reconciliations and accounts payable processes
- Prior finance experience or current pursuit of an Accounting/Finance degree preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with journal entries and the general ledger
- Ability to perform efficiently in a high-volume environment under pressure and meet fixed deadlines
- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team
- Proven ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion
- Proficiency in Adobe (e.g., Acrobat, PDF editing tools)
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP is a plus
- Solid general math skills
- College degree preferred
